Group Programs

Victoria Park programs cover a series of topics across Men’s Program, Women’s Program, Relationships in Focus and Parent’s Program, including The Process of Dependency; Change, Relapse Prevention and Letting Go; Self Responsibility and Family Dynamics.

The 12 session program uniquely combines cognitive behaviour therapy (understanding behaviours) and group therapy to facilitate positive change. With particular focus on the effects of problem substance use and other dependent behaviours on the family unit, the programs are instructive and supportive to bring about positive change. All of our participants in the Group Programs are encouraged and assisted to take responsibility for their situation.

In an open group format with a proven track record of success, the programs run on a continuous rotating basis (i.e. sessions 1-12 repeated without interruption) so you can join the group at any time and complete the full 12 session program.

Each session is crafted to cater for your unique needs with separate groups for men and women. Our programs offer a combination of educational components, group discussions, skill-building exercises, and practical strategies to help you develop healthier coping mechanisms and make positive lifestyle.
