Fit4Work

The OSH guideline states: “An employer could be in breach of the general duty to provide a safe workplace that is free from hazards if injury or harm is suffered as a result of alcohol or other drug use”. Substance misuse also affects employee wellness and productivity. Please take a moment to consider the following:

  • Your employees may not consume substances while at work, but what if they binge the night before or over the weekend?

  • If someone in your employee’s family or social circle is dependent on alcohol or drugs, could the stress affect their own health and productivity?

  • Are your organization’s drug and alcohol policies up to date and are your Managers and employees clear about the details?

  • Do your employees talk about these issues, or are they using counselling services through your Employee Assistance Program?

Our Fit4Work training addresses these issues and more. We present meaningful information to increase awareness, promote informed choices, reduce risk and enhance wellbeing. For more information, call (08) 9416 4444 or email corporateprograms@holyoake.org.au

“The City of Perth launched a Fit4Work program in partnership with Holyoake. The program has grown from strength to strength achieving continued success.

I would recommend this program to organizations seeking a positive proactive approach to alcohol and other drugs in the workplace.”
