Holyoake Celebrates Outstanding Accreditation Results, Reflecting Commitment to Excellence in Care
Holyoake is proud to announce the successful completion of two major accreditation reviews, reaffirming its deep commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Holyoake underwent rigorous desktop and in-person auditing conducted by the Institute for Healthy Communities Australia (IHCA), resulting in re-certification against the Alcohol and Other Drug Human Services Standard (AODHSS) and certification against the National Safety and Quality Health Standards for Community Managed Organisations (NSQMHSCMO). The latter marking a significant transition away from the former National Standards for Mental Health Services (NSMHS), aligning Holyoake more closely with current national best practice mental health frameworks.
Notably, Holyoake achieved an exceptional outcome, with no “not met” or “met with recommendation” actions raised in either audit. This remarkable result speaks volumes of the professionalism, dedication, and collaborative spirit of the entire Holyoake team.
Holyoake CEO, Ben Smith, praised the organisation’s cross-discipline working committee for their critical role in preparing for and navigating the accreditation process.
“This result is a testament to the commitment and planning of our teams across all areas of the organisation over a six-month period. The cross-discipline collaboration we’ve seen throughout this process has been wonderful”, said Ben.
“These accreditations not only confirm the quality and safety of the services we provide – but they have also given us the opportunity to reflect deeply on what we do well and identify where we can evolve to better support our consumers. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together and confident that we will continue to raise the bar moving forward.”
The audits reinforce Holyoake’s focus on delivering safe, person-centred, and outcomes-driven support to individuals and families impacted by alcohol and other drugs and mental health challenges. They also validate the organisation’s strategic direction and continuous improvement efforts.
