Holyoake’s Sherri McIntosh Appointed to WANADA Board of Directors
Holyoake is proud to celebrate the appointment of Sherri McIntosh, Executive General Manager Services, to the Board of Directors at the Western Australian Network of Alcohol & other Drug Agencies (WANADA). The announcement was made at WANADA’s 2025 Alcohol and Other Drug Sector Forum and Annual General Meeting held on 29 October 2025.
WANADA is an independent, membership-driven not-for-profit organisation that takes a whole-of-community approach to alcohol and other drug issues. Governed by an elected Board of delegates drawn from its membership, WANADA provides a shared voice for the specialist alcohol and other drug service sector – driving and influencing systemic change to achieve the best outcomes for the Western Australian community.
Sherri’s appointment reflects her long-standing commitment to improving community wellbeing. A dedicated leader with international experience across alcohol and other drugs and mental health services, Sherri is passionate about providing compassionate, effective support to individuals and families in need.
Before joining Holyoake, Sherri began her career at Altapointe Health Systems in the United States, later relocating to Australia in 2016. Since then, her strong focus on operational excellence and strategic leadership drove meaningful organisational outcomes at Richmind across 7 years of service. She has successfully completed the Signature Leadership Program with Leadership WA and holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Throughout her career, Sherri has been deeply committed to empowering individuals through high-quality, person-centred care and continually seeks opportunities to enhance service delivery and strengthen community impact.
Reflecting on her appointment, Sherri said “I am honoured to join the WANADA Board and contribute to its vital work in strengthening our sector and reducing alcohol and other drug-related harms across Western Australia. I look forward to collaborating with my peers to continue driving innovation, advocacy, and support that make a real difference in people’s lives.”
WANADA’s purpose is to lead a shared voice within the specialist alcohol and other drug service sector, driving and influencing the systemic change needed to achieve the best community outcomes. Its vision is to see reduced harms associated with alcohol and other drugs for all Western Australians through a sector-led approach.
