Available in: North East Metro Perth Metro Wheatbelt
Free one-to-one counselling in a safe, caring and non-judgemental environment for young people impacted by someone else’s use of alcohol, other drugs or related mental ill health.
Our individual counselling program for young people aged 3 to 18 is free and confidential. Our counsellors help participants make sense of their situation and work through challenges caused by someone else’s alcohol or drug use, developing the understanding and skills they need to live healthier lives and enjoy happier relationships.
The empowering support our counsellors provide is individually tailored for each participant and their goals, so sessions can cover a wide range of subjects. This includes (but isn’t limited to):
Sessions are available in person, on the phone or via video call, either during the day or in the evening.
Every child has a right to live without violence, be cared for and be protected from abuse, neglect and exploitation.
We’re committed to child and youth safety and well-being and maintain child-safe and child-friendly environments, implementing and completing self-assessments aligned to the National Principles of the Child Safe Organisations 2019 framework, as developed by the Commissioner for Children and Young People Western Australia. We recognise the unique needs of each youth and work at their pace to ensure they feel secure and understood.
At Holyoake, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for young people to heal and grow. Our services are free and confidential, and we welcome young people and their families from all backgrounds. Please read our Commitment to Safeguarding Children and Young People
